Since I’m not reporting on major and hard-hitting news as I count down to my last day with CNB, I’ve decided to tackle some of the movie reviews for the award nominees.

Since I’m not reporting on major and hard-hitting news as I count down to my last day with CNB, I’ve decided to tackle some of the movie reviews for the award nominees.
I’m writing this to announce I will be leaving the Colonial News Bulletin in the near future. You may have read earlier that I was arrested by the New Gyr Militia on charges of being an Agerran Purist. Let me elaborate on this and put all rumors to rest. I must note that this is being published as a condition by the New Gyr Militia of being remanded into my own custody.
The following is the personal opinion and commentary of Jacek Regolith. It does not necessaraly represent the views of the Colonial News Bulletin
At the beginning of the Silent Conversation meeting, the Speaker announced that New Gyr must “Figure out where to go next”.
Given the chaos of this evening, I’ve decided to go through some of my notes to provide further detail on some of the events that occurred.
Prior to erupting into a shouting match between Enterios and the reset of the major faction leaders of Voyage Point, New Gyr – the Enterios Press Conferences started like any other.
The Silent Conversation has acted quickly in response to the revelations from Enterios. They issued the following four directives The Voyage Point Safeguard Treaty concerning the use of the AI by the Enterios Corporation is […]
The Colonial News Bulletin has confirmed a previous statement from Enterios about the Stinging Eyes being on New Gyr and their leader being the Designer Gossamer. The following was provided to CNB by Gossamer. The New Gyr […]
Quaid Rin-mof, a member of the Enterios Board, was found dead yesterday evening on the front steps of their apartment building in Three Stone Harbor. Rin-mof lived in the penthouse of the 8-story structure and […]
Speaker Arlanna Ryf-av and Séjek Hatsen, the well-known private investigator from Black Snow Mountain, were observed kissing in a more than friendly manner in a quiet, empty corner shortly after tonight’s Welcome Ceremony.
The following individuals within Voyage Point, New Gyr have personal correspondence from Agerre:
The Pearl Ambassador was the ship that originally re-discovered Phaelos III and provided information to Enterios to lead a colonization effort. The ship belonged to Stardust Shipping, an emerging company that sought to provide services across the galaxy.
When we look back at the Galactic League and it’s attempts to influence the direction of Phaelos III, we come across Princess Mos Lara Kan, Ancillary Consul of the Galactic League, attempting to influence things from afar.
One influential person during the early days of New Gyr, back when it was Phaelos III, was Ryl Nyr-Fan, representative of the 20 million Gyra refugees and member of the Silent Conversation.
She spoke to the colonists that Gyr was still a political force and sought to have the Gyra treated as a political entity and worthy of respect. She also requested that they be listened to.
Each morning I wake up and keep to a ritual. Shower. Dress. Coffee and a smoke outside the newsroom. Breakfast occurs somewhere in there, along with some chatting and the start of the workday.
But as I have my coffee and smoke, I take in the scene around me that many others in New Gyr take for granted each day. Green grass and trees toward one horizon. A breeze carries fresh salty spray from the other horizon. Above, a blue sky that kisses the ocean as the two meet in the distance.
There has been blood spilled. This war has spread to nearly all worlds and has resulted in dozens of duels. And now, dear reader, the war has reached New Gyr and our own very newsroom. Rest assured that I will stand with you on the side of that which is correct, which all peoples can agree is good and just. We will stand opposed to the Baryosi Comma!
The following are a summary of fines and punishments handed out recently for individuals found in violation of the laws of New Gyr: Punishments for Kite Bust outside Three Stone Harbor Assigned During a string […]
Two weeks ago, Baryosi citizen Emeka Chi’kelu was found guilty of the attempted assassination of two legitimate business people on Baryos. About three years ago, Chi’kelu attempted the assassination but their plot was foiled when an Ottsallian Purse animal of some interminant species began making noise (court records show both squawking and barking) which reveiled Chi’kelu’s presence.
After the failed plot, Chi’kelu fled to New Gyr to “lay low”, but they were discovered by the New Gyr Militia about two years ago based on a tip from a local informant.
Enterios Corporation has been linked, in part, to the introduction and continued presence of rats on the world of New Gyr.
Through its research, the Colonial News Bulletin has officially linked Enterios as a contributor to the rat problem on New Gyr. Multiple documents and accounts from the planets founding, when it was still called the Phaelos III colony, were studied.
Arlann Ya-rett was born on Gyr. He was killed while attempting to steal an Commonwealth Capital Ship, which was successfully captured by his Agerran confederate Admiral Therra. The things that happened between these two events are open to debate and interpretation, but it cannot be denied that they had a resounding effect felt across the entire galaxy from the thriving homeworld of New Gyr to the now continuously blockaded Aggere. As we look back at the history of New Gyr’s founding, we must examine the life and history of Ya-rett.
If you’re into the latest New Gyr fashion, you cannot say “Not I” to wearing knots. They can be used in neckwear or incorporated into belts, accessories and even clothing. Turn an ordinary top into an extraordinary one by adding a knot or two in the straps, or a simple length of leather or cord around the waste with an elegant knot offset by some beads or gems. But be careful, there are meanings in knots so what may look cool and fashionable might make your partner jealous if it’s sending a message that you are available.
Kite is an illegal drug in the form of a small, red, fish-shaped candy that, when ingested, produces a significant high in the user. The feeling of being “as high as a kite” is where its name originates. When the first colonists arrived on New Gyr, what was then simply Phaelos III, it became very apparent that the little red fish had swam along with them.
